Well behaved dogs are welcome but as we are a working farm they must be kept on the lead at all times and not to be left alone in tents. They must NOT cause a nuisance to other guests or livestock. Campers are also expected to clean up after their dogs.
Please try and encourage dogs to do their business in the margins of the field and please do always pick it up, we don't operate a 'stick and flick' policy here (even in the long grass) as people (inc children) do still walk there. No more then 2 dogs per pitch. If these conditions are not met you will be asked to remove your dog from the campsite. We charge £5.00 per dog per night. Thank you for understanding.
In order to stay at our Worfe Camping Site, at least one adult from each occupied camping unit will be required to be a member of the Greener Camping Club (only £12.00 per year).
We have plenty of parking up at the main farmhouse. The rest of the campsite is a car free zone. We will provide wheelbarrows for your convenience.
We encourage our guests to recycle whilst they stay with us. Please ensure you wash and sort your old packaging to make it easier and more pleasant for us.
Each pitch comes with its own designated fire pit. These must be always supervised by a responsible adult. We will provide you with FREE fire wood. Please no fireworks, disposable BBQ's, ground fires, Chinese lanterns or similar to be used on site- these lanterns pose a genuine threat to animal welfare, they are also a fire hazard not just to wildlife habitats but also local farm buildings. We reserve the right to impose a fire ban without prior notice when we deam an excessive risk of fire is present.
You are welcome to explore the site but please remember that the safety of yourself and your children is your responsibility at all times. Please do not let unaccompanied children enter the river and handle animals.
We do not allow amplified music to be played on site. If you would like to listen to radio etc. you are more then welcome. Acoustic music (guitars, accordions etc) played with consideration for your fellow campers, is acceptable. After 10.30 pm is quiet time on site. It doesn’t mean that you need to go to bed but please be aware that other people might be trying to nod off. This is for the benefit of other guests and for our neighbours (sound travels far here, especially at night).
We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal possessions or vehicles during your stay. Please ensure any valuables remain locked in your car.
Every effort has been made to ensure guests safety on site but we cannot accept responsibility for any accidental injuries. The very nature of camping and being in the great outdoors carries an element of risk. There is a first aid kit on site and contact numbers for local A&E’s, pharmacies and local GP surgery which are in the main office.
In order to make everyone’s stay at Worfe campsite enjoyable, all guests are requested to be considerate of others.
Inappropriate or anti-social behaviour towards other guests or staff may lead to removal from site without a refund of the rental sum or any part of it.
Smoking Policy
If you smoke please dispose of your cigarette ends in the fire pit or bin. Please do not throw them
on to the ground as they pose a fire risk.
